Government College of Engineering (GECA) Aurangabad Admission 2024: Cut Off, Fees, Eligibility

GECA invites applicants for admission under six specializations of the B.Tech course. Interested candidates should have passed 10+2 with Science or have a diploma in Engineering. For selection, they need to take the MH-CET.

How to Apply?

Candidates enrolling for B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:

• Fill out the online application form at DTE website.
• Upload scanned copies of necessary papers.
• A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Keep a print of the form for verification.

GECA offers six specializations under the M.Tech course. Those who want to apply should have a B.Tech degree.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• The candidate should have a B.Tech degree.
• The candidate should have scored 55% marks in aggregate.
• The candidate should have a valid GATE score card.

How to apply for GATE?

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

GATE counselling:

• Register at the official website
• Fill out the application form
• Pay the registration fee of 2,200 INR (1,700 INR for reserved categories)
• Click on “I agree”
• Start entering your choices. When it is done, lock the choices
• Submit the application and keep a printout

GECA offers an MCA course in the PG department. To apply, a candidate must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• The candidate should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.
• The candidate should have scored at least 50% marks in the 10+2 final examination.
• The candidate should have taken the MH MCA- CET.

GECA offers one specialization- electrical- under the PhD course. To apply, a candidate must have a Master’s degree in the relevant field with 60% marks, in addition to taking an entrance exam conducted by the college.

How to Apply to GECA?

• The application process is offline for all courses.
• Visit the official website of GECA.
• Click on the ‘Downloads’ tab on the homepage of the website
• Candidates will be redirected to a new page
• Click on Applications Form link
• Fill out the form and take a printout.
• The application fee for M.Tech for GATE-qualified candidates is 1,000 INR; for non-GATE candidates it is 2,000 INR. For PhD candidates the fee is 3,000 INR.
• The application fee has to be paid in form of Demand Draft issued in favour of the ‘Principal Government College of Engineering Aurangabad’.
