Government College of Engineering (GCE), Chandrapur, Maharashtra was established in 1996. The college is affiliated to University of Gondwana, Gadchiroli.
GCE Chandrapur offers B.E degree at the undergraduate level in six disciplines. The college also offers an engineering degree through lateral entry. The intake capacity in each branch is 60 seats.

Government College of Engineering, Chandrapur offers B.E in 6 specializations. Candidates applying for BE degree must have passed HSC in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks from any recognized board.
For admission, candidates belonging to Maharashtra have to take MHT-CET. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET.
MHT-CET consists of two papers: Paper 1 of Mathematics and Paper 2 of Chemistry and Physics. Each paper consists of 100 marks.
Candidates belonging to states other than Maharashtra are selected on the basis of a valid JEE Main score.

The candidates should apply online on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. Candidates who have already registered for MHT-CET are not required to pay any fee for registration for admission. However, those who have not registered for MHT-CET are required to pay the application fee by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
The application fee is INR 800 for candidates of Maharashtra as well as other states. For reserved category students, the application fee is INR 600. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
An incomplete application form will be rejected and form sent by post/courier will be rejected.
