GEC, Jagdalpur offers B.Tech in 6 specializations The college offers a total of 270 seats for B.Tech. Candidates need 10+2 level or equivalent exam in Science stream with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology as an optional subject to be eligible for admission.

There are two modes of admission to the college. Candidates can either apply through JEE Main score under All India Quota or CG PET 2020 score under State Quota. Government Engineering College, Jagdalpur Application Process 2023

For B.Tech - The application form for CG PET is made available in an online and offline mode on the official website of DTE, Raipur. The cost of application form is INR 200 for General category, INR 150 for OBC category and INR 100 for SC/ST category candidates. The application fee could be paid through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card in online mode and through SBI Challan in offline mode.

For M.Tech - The application forms will be made available online from July 2020 tentatively. The application fee is INR 500 (tentative) which has to be paid through the SBI Challan generated for download after registration of form.
