Candidate applying for admission in Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] should meet the criteria followed by the institute 

• Candidates who have passed 10+2 examinations of any recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/BT/Biology/ Computer Science. are eligible for admission to 1st year of B.Tech program. Admission to 85% seats is done through UP State Engineering Entrance Test (UPSEE). 15% of seats are reserved as management seats.
• Eligibility criteria for admission to management quota is minimum 50% marks in Phy, Maths, Chemistry/BT/Biology/ Computer Science or qualifying in UPSEE Test/AIEEE Examination. This is, however, subject to policy/G.O. of the State Government/UPTU. Students willing to join H.R Institute of Technology through UPSEE counseling must indicate their choice of code 194 during counseling.
