Hindustan College of Science and Technology (HCST) offers admission in B.Tech program on the basis of UPSEE or JEE Main score. To secure admission under Management Quota seats, students have to appear in the separate entrance test conducted by the college itself.
UPSEE is a state level examination conducted by APJAKTU every year. The application forms for UPSEE are released in the month of January and candidates can fill the same online by registering on the website.
The exam is conducted in offline mode and after the publication of the rank list, the counselling process is conducted at the selected colleges of APJAKTU.

- 75% of the total seats are filled by the college through UPSEE.

HCST offers admission in the M.Tech program on the basis of UPSEE or GATE score followed by state level counselling. The candidates with minimum 85 percentiles in GATE are also eligible to apply for the college.
15% of the total seats are filled by direct admission under Management Quota in which candidate has to pass an exam conducted by the college in order to get selected. GATE is conducted at National level and its application process starts in the month of September every year.
For MBA program, apart from UPSEE score, a valid score in CAT or MAT is also considered for admission.

- Central Admission Cell: SGI Towers, 500mts from Bhagwan Talkies, towards Mathura on Agra – Mathura Highway (NH-2) Agra – 282005.
- Regional Offices (at Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati & Kolkata)
- The application can also be obtained by remitting a fee of INR 1000 in cash at any of office of the college or by sending a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1050 in the name of the college applied for and payable at Agra.

- The candidates applying online through Sharda Group’s website will be routed for self-application form.
- After successfully filling the application form, the system will generate a unique ID & Password (Numeric) which will be candidate’s unique identification number throughout the admission process.
- An auto-generated e-mail will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail ID, containing the following information, viz. welcome note & Unique ID.
- The students can give an Online Test (OLT) using the Unique ID provided to them and the test results would be provided online.
- Candidates clearing the online test have to visit the Central Admission Cell or any of the Regional Centers.
- Submit an application by paying an amount of INR 1000 in cash or INR 1050 in the form of DD.
- Selected candidates based on the Cumulative performance of Class 12th, Written Test, Interview & Rank in a competitive examination would be offered admission.
- On the designated date of Aptitude Test (which is communicated through various media and on the web) the student may appear for an Admission Test at the Central Admission Cell.
- The aptitude test is of 60 minutes which assesses the problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and the language proficiency of the candidate
- Shortlisted candidates can register themselves by remitting a fee of INR 30,000 through Cash/DD at any office of the college.
- Selected candidates would be intimated, post which, they would have to report at Central Admission Cell of Sharda Group of Institutions.
