KJSIEIT gives admission to the B.E first year program through merit and performance in MH CET or JEE Main Paper 1. MH CET is a state level entrance test conducted by the Admissions Regulating Authority and State Common Entrance Test Cell.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and either of these as an optional subject, viz. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, Vocational subjects with minimum 50% marks (45% for OBC and PWD candidates of Maharashtra State) in aggregate.

KJSIET offers direct admission to Second Year of the full-time B.E program on the basis of inter-se-merit basis.
admission proceedings are performed as per the guidelines prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education and Admission Regulating Authority, Government of Maharashtra.
