What's New in KNIT?
Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology BTech admissions are based on JEE Main score 2024 followed by UPTAC Counselling. Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology BTech admissions 2024 registration deadline has been extended till December 04. Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology UG and PG admissions are based on CUET UG and CUET PG scores. NTA has declared the CUET UG and CUET PG exam dates. The CUET UG and CUET PG 2024 exams will be held from May 15 to May 31, and from March 11 to March 28, 2024 respectively.
Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT), Sultanpur was established in 1979 by Uttar Pradesh government. The institute is affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.
KNIT Sultanpur offers full-time B.Tech, M.C.A, M.Tech and Ph.D. courses. There are 60 plus 3 additional seats in each branch of B.Tech. 18 seats per branch are available for M.Tech candidates. For MCA, there are 60 seats in total.
- The process of application is online except for doctoral program.
- The minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks and valid rank in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).
- The minimum eligibility for M.C.A is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- For M.Tech, the candidates should be a graduate with at least 60% aggregate marks and should hold a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.
- For Ph.D., the candidates should have a Master’s degree with at least 60% aggregate marks.
- Candidates have to appear for UPSEE examination for admission in M.C.A and B.Tech, while for M.Tech, the candidates have to appear for GATE.
- The candidates have to attend the counseling process for the requisite entrance examination and thereby will be called for the document verification in the institute.

KNIT Sultanpur B.Tech Admission 2023
The institute offers B.Tech course in six different specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply is 10+2 in with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognized university.
Admission is done on the basis of UP SEE. UP SEE is by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh (APJAKTU).
The application process is online for B.Tech as the candidates have to apply online for UPSEE and after the result declaration, the shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling.

KNIT Sultanpur MCA Admission 2023
The institute offers a MCA course under PG program. The minimum eligibility to apply is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Selection is done on the basis of a valid score in UPSEE.
The application process is online. Candidates have to apply online for the application form of UPSEE and then appear for the counseling process.

KNIT Sultanpur M.Tech Admission 2023
The institute offers an M.Tech course in five specializations. The minimum eligibility is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Admission is done on the basis of a valid score in GATE. GATE is conducted every year for admission in M.Tech and Ph.D. courses. There is no age limit to appear for this exam.
The application process is online. Candidates have to apply online for GATE and then appear for the counseling process.

KNIT Sultanpur Ph.D. Admission 2023
Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology offers Ph.D. in six different specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply is a Master’s degree/Bachelor’s degree/MCA degree with first division in the appropriate field of Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Management/Architecture from a recognized university.
The selection is done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the institute.

KNIT Sultanpur Application Process
The process of application is online for all the courses except for doctoral program.
For B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA, candidates have to fill the application form online for GATE (M.Tech) and UPSEE (B.Tech and MCA). The form has to be filled with correct details. Payment of the application form has to be done online. Candidates will be called for counseling based on their GATE and UPSEE score.
The documents to be brought at the time of counseling are:
- Allotment letter issues by SEE
- Admit card of SEE
- Orginal certificate and mark sheet of 10+2
- Original character certificate and transfer/migration certificate.
- Category certificate and subcategory certificate if applicable
- Income certificate of candidates whose parent’s annual income is less than 1 lacs
- Two passport size photographs
- Medical certificate
- Two sets of photocopies of all the documents mentioned above.
For Ph.D., the candidates can download the application form from the institute’s official website. The form has to be duly filled and submitted to the institute with the application fee.
The documents to be brought at the time of Ph.D. admission are:
- Registration fees
- NOC from the employer
- Two copies of resume
- A statement of work
