Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad Admission 2024: Courses, Registration, Fees

The program is offered in the following specializations and respective seats are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must have passed the 10+2 with Physics and Maths as the compulsory subjects while the optional subjects are Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject.
• Applicants should have obtained 45% marks in the above examinations mentioned.
• For candidates belonging from reserved category 40% marks are required at 10+2 level.
• Also, candidates having passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% marks are eligible for Lateral Entry Admissions.
• For  SC/ST category marks required in Diploma in Engineering is 40%. 

Selection Criteria

B.Tech 1st Year Admission at KEC Ghaziabad is conducted in 2 ways i.e JEE Mains Counselling and Management Quota.

Direct Admission under Management Quota and Vacant Seats

• The seats will be filled after the counseling of JEE Mains on merit only if you have cleared the qualifying examination with two compulsory subjects and one optional subject securing 45% marks and 40% if you are belonging to a reserved category. OR You must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% marks and 40% marks if you are SC/ST candidate.
• For the following admission process, you are required to fill the online registration form available on the college website or you can even check it here.
• Seats under Management and vacant quota are filled in preference order.

1. Qualified Candidates for JEE (Main).
2. PCM merit of students in qualifying examination.

Key Notes:

• Direct admission is offered to Kashmiri Migrants in the first year of the B.Tech program.
• Fee waiver seats for economically weaker meritorious candidates are also available in the B.Tech course. No tuition fee will be charged from the candidates admitted against such seats.
• The fee waiver seats are limited to a maximum of 5% of the approved intake. The economically weaker students must submit an Income Certificate at the time of counseling. These seats are allotted through JEE (Main) counselling.
