Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, offers undergraduate level engineering degree programs i.e. BE in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to BE course is 10+2 in science stream with at least 50% aggregate.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of candidates’ rank or marks obtained in MHT CET.
Allotment of seats is carried out through the Maharashtra state level engineering counselling process (CAP).

Candidates can apply online through MHT CET or JEE Main website within the stipulated time. Payment of fees can be made online via credit card/ debit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets. Candidates who satisfy the MHT CET cut off must register themselves for the counselling process.

Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks are also eligible to apply, provided the diploma is equivalent to the diploma awarded by MSBTE with English Medium.
B.Sc candidates with 50% in graduation can apply for Lateral Entry to BE second year.
40% marks are required in the last qualifying exam is required for SC/ST candidates.

Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, offers ME and Ph.D. program in the field of Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to ME program is First Class marks at graduate level (BE/ B. Tech) in the relevant discipline. For Ph.D admission, candidates are required to clear ME with First Class marks.

Selection of M.E. candidates done on the basis of GATE score or MET.
For Ph.D. candidates, selection is based on GATE score or PET score.
Candidates are allotted seats through DTE Maharashtra counselling (CAP).

Aspiring candidates can apply through Maharashtra DTE website by filling the application form online. Ph.D. candidates can apply directly through the institute’s website. The requisite application fee can be paid through various payment portals facilitated by the DTE and / or institute. All applications must reach their designated offices on or before the last date.

GATE candidates are not required to take the MET entrance test.
Candidates seeking admission under management / NRI quota can skip counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
M.Sc. candidates with first class marks are eligible to apply for the ME programs.
Maharashtra candidates are given preference over students belonging to other states.

Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, has different application procedures for UG and PG level programs, as listed below:

For BE programs:

Candidates can apply for admission to the BE program through the official MHT CET website
Applicants must fill all the relevant information to register and an email confirming the same will be sent to the applicant.
Candidates can log on to their MHT CET account in the future using the application number and password.
Candidate must upload scanned copies of his/her passport size photograph and signature along with the completed forms. The permitted format is .jpg/.jpeg only.
Application fee of INR 800 must be paid only through the online payment gateway.
Candidates should save and print the complete application form along with the payment acknowledgement slip for future reference.
The candidate must download the admit card on the scheduled date.

For ME program:

Applicants can log on to the DTE website for online submission of application form.
Payment of application fee can be made online through various payment sources.
Candidates must visit the facilitation center upon submission of the application form for the purpose of document verification, updating and confirmation of application form.
One the merit list is declared, candidates must fill the online registration form for CAP conducted by Maharashtra DTE.

For Ph.D program:

Ph.D. candidates can apply through the institute website or collect a copy of the application form from the institute’s admission cell. Registration fee can be paid online or by making a cash deposit at the fee counter. Duly filled-in copy of the application form should be submitted with photocopies of relevant documents on or before the last date.
