About MIT
Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), Aurangabad was established in 2001 by the Gramodyogik Shikshak Mandal (GSM) and the MIT group of institutes. It is an autonomous institute accredited by grade “A” from NAAC. It offers a wide range of courses for graduation and post-graduation level in disciplines of Engineering & Technology. The institute is permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Aurangabad and is approved by AICTE, Delhi and DTE Maharashtra. MIT has received recognition under Section 2(F) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. UGC has granted autonomous status to the institute.
MIT has got accreditation from Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India as a Science and Industrial Research Organization (SIROs). - Cafetaria of mit is excellent which have all type of food
- Very good and helpful nature of staff and also teaching is good
- Good nature and trees are there , and also nice environment
- Good library to study and teaching staff is also so supportive
- The environment of the Pune is very nice and it is mostly normal temperature
- Faculty is decent or good which helps students at any time
- Good Placement Opportunities with a wide range of comapnies visiting the campus for recruitment
Dislike
- Well, the placement and job cell is not very good; only 2 or 3 companies have visited our campus for hiring in the last 2 years. We all need to search for jobs off-campus, which is really the worst part of this College.
- I didnt avail any type of scholarship or educational loan. However, I tried to get a loan from banks, but I was unable to obtain one.
- The classes here have one of the worst benches, but they have projectors in each class. No sports activities are conducted in the college.
- The only negative remark is the placement and job cell. There are no companies on campus for hiring students. Students really need to struggle a lot for placement.
