MGIT Admission 2024

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) offers admission through entrance basis for B.tech and M.Tech courses. It accepts valid scores in TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET for B.tech & GATE & AP PGECET for M.tech. Furtehrm it also accepts the entrance test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.

Admission procedure for PG: First ensure you fulfill the eligibility requirements and then apply for AP PGECET. Appear for the exam and check if you meet the cutoff after the results are declared. Candidates who meet the cutoff, engage in the counseling process based on their merit. Those who have cleared GATE can skip AP PGECET and go for direct admission. After getting assigned a seat, verifying documents, and paying fees, the final admission is confirmed.

MGIT Scholarship 2024

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) offers several scholarships to students based on their academic performance and financial needs. These scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and they may cover a portion or all of the tuition fees.

Some of the scholarships offered by the college include

1. Merit scholarships for students who have performed exceptionally well in their academic pursuits
2. Scholarships based on economic background for students who come from financially weaker sections of society

Candidates who successfully qualified for TS PGECET and secured a rank between 1 to 500 at MGIT will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 5,000 or INR 60,000 per annum. Those with a rank between 501 and 1000 will be awarded INR 3,000 per month or INR 36,000 annually. Additionally, candidates who qualified in GATE will receive a scholarship of INR 5,000 per month or INR 60,000 per annum from CBIT & MGIT, along with any scholarship provided by AICTE/MHRD, Govt. of India.

MGIT Campus 

MGIT has a vibrant, secure and safe campus sprawling over 30 acres of pleasant landscape with a constructed area of 2,50,787 sq ft. MGIT provides a wide range of facilities to its students. Some of these are listed below: 

• Library: MGIT Library is well-equipped and well-facilitated with 53,852 volumes & 12,734 titles,658 e-journals, 176 Indian technical journals and 25 general magazines for the benefit of the students and staff. An average of 450 students and staff visit the library every day. Major publishers like Oxford Press, Cambridge University Press, PHI, Prentice Hall, New Age, Asian, Higginbotham’s, etc. conduct exhibitions every year at the campus. 
• Sports: The inistute facilitates indoor & outdoor sports activities for students. The indoor facilities include Table Tennis, Carom & Chess whereas outdoor facilities include  Football, Cricket, Basketball (Synthetic Acrylic surface), Volleyball Courts and Throw ball (for Girls). There are many sporting events held at MGIT. These are EKALAVYA – Intercollegiate Sports Fest and NIRVANA Spots Festi. 
• Transport: The institute offers transport facilities to students. The seats will be allotted on a first come first serve basis for every academic year after receipt of Transport Fee. The transport fee once paid is non-refundable.
• Student Clubs: A list of student clubs at MGIT include Literary, Music, Dance, Arts, Drama & Film Making, Photography & Persona Technology.
