Murshidabad College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1998. College is aided by the Govt. of West Bengal. Established by a voluntary Society, this non-commercial and self-financed college is on its glorious run under the competent guidance of a Governing Body.

• Vision of the college is “To develop the institute as a unique center of excellence in the world for imparting Engineering   Education and Research”
• Mission of the college is “To motivate the youngsters of our country with state - of - art technical knowledge and skill”
• College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) , New Delhi and affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT)
