RMKCET B.E/B.Tech Admission 2023
RMKCET offers B.E/B.Tech with specializations in Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The college also provides Lateral Entry admissions in the second year of engineering in all the specializations.
50% of the admissions are done under Government Quota through single window system of counselling conducted by the Anna University. Admissions are given in the affiliated colleges based on the marks obtained in the HSC. Candidates are not required to appear for any entrance and have to enroll only for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
The remaining 50% of the admissions are done under management quota through single window system of counselling conducted by the Consortium of Self Financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Candidates should have passed Tamil Nadu HSC (Academic) examinations with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Also, candidates having passed Tamil Nadu HSC (Vocational) are considered eligible for the admission. Candidates other than the state of Tamil Nadu will be considered as belonging to another Category (OC) while applying for B.Tech.
For Lateral Entry admission into second-year candidates should have passed Diploma examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination. Candidates holding an undergraduate degree in B.Sc are also eligible to apply.

RMKCET Application Process 2023
Candidates seeking admissions under Government Quota have to fill TNEA application form while candidates applying through Management Quota have to fill the application form of the consortium.
