RKGIT Admission 2024: Dates, Selection Criteria, Eligibility, Application Process

RKGIT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates having a 10+2 level or equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are considered to be eligible for applying in B.Tech program.

RKGIT B.Tech Selection Criteria 2022

The institute organizes two different admission procedures for the RGKIT B.Tech based on the available seats for the candidates.

• 85% of the available seats are filled through an entrance examination conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counselling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
• For 15% seats candidates can apply for direct admission to the RKGIT. Admission will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam and /or respective entrance exam as per the policies of the University .

How to apply?

UPSEE 2022

• Visit the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in.
• Click on “Online Application Form for B.Des, B.Pharm, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, B.Voc, MBA (Integrated), MCA (Integrated) Courses”. The following form will open on the screen.
• Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, email Id and create your password.
• An application number will be sent to you as SMS and mail.

JEE Main 2022

• Visit JEE Main Official Website – jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on “Apply for JEE(Main) – 2022.
• Read the instructions, tick the box and select “Click here to Proceed”
• Application number will be generated after submission of personal details. The application number shall be used for completing the remaining steps of the registration process and for future reference.
• Fill the Registration Form by Personal Details like Candidate’s name, Mother’s name, Father’s name, Gender, DOB etc.
• Fill your Contact Details – Address, City name, Email Address, Pin Code, Mobile Number etc. 
• The candidate is required to choose a password and a security question and enter his/her answer for the same.
• Candidate’s must note down the security question and answer for future reference.
• As a final step, candidates need to fill the displayed security pin and click on “Submit”.

The Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT) caters to Master of Technology (M.Tech) for the candidates seeking higher degree in the field of Technology. The capacity intake of the program is 09. The program holds a duration of two years.

RKGIT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks.

RKGIT M.Tech Selection Criteria

The institute makes the selection for the RKGIT M.Tech program according to the obtained marks in B.Tech.

To explore and elevate the field of Pharmacy the institute serves two Pharmacy programs such as, RKGIT B.Pharm at the UG level and RKGIT M.Pharm at the PG level. The institute also provides admission in the 2nd year of B.Pharm program.

RKGIT Eligibility Criteria: B.Pharm & M.Pharm

B.Pharm: Through UPSEE 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology ( 40% for SC / ST ) Through Direct 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology ( 45% for SC / ST ).

B.Pharm Lateral: Through UPSEE 50% in D.Pharm for any Recognized university ( 45% for SC / ST ) Through Direct 60% in D.Pharm for any Recognized university.

M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics): B.Pharm

RKGIT Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission in B.Pharm programme are required to appear in an entrance exam, commonly known as UPSEE conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

For Admissions to M.Pharm courses, the University invites applications directly.

Keynote: Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category will be given 5% of marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria of B.Pharm.

In addition the institute also offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at PG level for a duration of 2 years.

RKGIT MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with any Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for the program.
