SKP Engineering College (SKEPC) Admission 2024: Fees, Courses, Registration Process

SKP Engineering College (SKPEC) is affiliated to Anna University. The college follows the admission guidelines set by Anna University. 

There are courses like B.E, B.Tech, M.E and MBA are offered at SKP Engineering College for admissions at present. The admissions are based on entrance scores and on merit followed by state counseling.

Admission to B.E & B.Tech are offered through TNEA counseling. To be eligible for admissions, students who have pursued their HSC from Tamil Nadu only would be offered a seat at this college on the basis of merit.

M.E admissions are offered to those students who qualify TANCET or who are already GATE qualified. The students are eligible if they have 50% in B.E/B.Tech in a relevant discipline of study. Applications are accepted by TANCA.

For MBA admissions students must qualify either CAT or TANCET and have an undergraduate degree with 50% would be eligible to apply for admissions. Applications are accepted through TANCA for MBA counseling.

Applications for the respective entrances and counseling are available online at their respective websites. Upon admission, students must carry their entrance scorecards/results at SKPEC for authentication.

M.E Admission Process

Students who qualify for the GATE exam can also apply through TANCA for admissions.

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

How to register?

• Candidates have to register through online mode at the Web portal.
• They must enter an active mobile number and email ID.
• Enter relevant personal and educational details 
• Choose the save/submit button.
• Preview the forms and make changes, if required.
• Finally, click submit and save button to make an online fee payment.

Documents Required

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the following given documents while registering for TANCA counseling: 

• Mark sheets of X, XII or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
• Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet. 
• Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
• Valid GATE scorecard and TANCET hall ticket for GATE qualified category
• Certificate of Disability
• Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate. (if applicable)
• Copy of identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)
