Sai Vidya Institute of Technology offers 4-year engineering degree courses (B.E.) in up to six disciplines at the undergraduate level. The specializations for the B.E. program include- Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical & Electronics, and Electronics & Communication.

SVIT Bangalore B.E./B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the UG programs is a pass in 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics combined. 

• Candidates appearing for their final year exam are eligible to apply but will be granted provisional admission until submission of the qualifying exam documents before the last date.
• Reserved category candidates must secure not less than 40% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam.

SVIT Bangalore B.E./B.Tech. Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates is done on the basis of KCET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority or COMED-K Score.

Note- Candidates seeking admission to 25% seats reserved for management quota admissions are selected on the basis of CET/COMED-K ranks only.

Sai Vidya Institute of Technology offers M. Tech. courses in the disciplines of VLSI & Embedded Systems and Computer Science & Engineering at the post-graduate level. 

SVIT Bangalore M.E./M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 50 percentile marks. 

SVIT Bangalore M.E./M.Tech. Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates for M.Tech. admissions is done on the basis of the GATE score.

• Non-GATE candidates are selected through PGCET conducted by the University for M.Tech admissions.
• GATE candidates are given the first preference.
• PGCET candidates are admitted to the vacant seats left after admitting the GATE qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in order to be eligible. 

SVIT Bangalore MBA Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates is done on the basis of PGCET/KMAT/GMAT or equivalent entrance/ admission test scores.

• 50% of the seats for MBA will be filled through government quota on the basis of PGCET (conducted by the University) rank.
• The test is conducted every year in the month of June and allotment is done on merit basis.
• The remaining 50% of seats are filled through management on the basis of rank/ marks obtained in PGCET/KMAT/GMAT.
