How is Reva University Bangalore for a CSE, in terms of academics, hostel and placements?

One of my friends studied at REVA University. According to him, CSE here is really good and has a great reputation. Here are some facts about it. The academic curriculum is really good and updated to match modern standards. The faculty is very helpful and cooperative. They groom you to become industry-ready. Hostels are clean and well furnished. They are also provided with facilities like Wifi, Gym, laundry, etc. Placements are also good. Several top MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra participate in the placement program. They take around 3500-4000 students per year in B.Tech which in other colleges is 900 students. What is the dress code at REVA University Bangalore?

There is no particular dress code in REVA University Bangalore. Students are supposed to put on decent clothing and nothing very extravagant. The Mechanical and Civil Engineering department has a dress code for the lab. On Wednesday everyone should wear organic T-shirts.

According to the reviews I read online, most of the students have supported Reva University over Sai Vidya Institute of Technology. There are many things that come into consideration like: The faculty is very important while considering a college. Reva University has a highly experienced faculty who are very helpful and cooperative as well. By their proper guidance students at Reva have known to become very successful. The Course curriculum is as per industry interface as compared to any college which is regulated by the other long distance university like Sai Institute is regulated by the VTU. Life at Reva is said to be more exciting than any other college. Therefore, it is suggested that you go for Reva University over Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, as it will offer you better opportunities in your career ahead.

Which is the better college, REVA University or Presidency University?

Both, REVA University and Presidency University are new. However, on an overall scale, the former is better. REVA has an excellent faculty pool. The faculty members are well-experienced and friendly. The university follows a well-balanced curriculum. Emphasis is placed on hands-on learning experience. It has a good placement record. During REVA University placements 2021, more than 450 recruiting companies took part in the campus drive. The highest CTC offered was INR 24 LPA. REVA has more than 100 student clubs and organizations. You can take part in any of these clubs, according to your interest.

What is the minimum attendance required in Reva University?

One of my friends studied at REVA University. According to him, it is said to be more than 75%. It is safer upto 60% if you have a valid reason for your absence and have a leaving certificate. But going through this is a lot of hassle. This would require the involvement of the director or coordinator or mentor, etc. So to avoid such a hassle it is better to maintain 75%. Take leaves only if they are absolutely necessary.

Dont even talk about research; the teachers are unable to teach whats in the textbook.
Placements were very poor in my college, even now, especially for mechanical students and all other branches except for computer science. It is not bad for computer science students. Our college doesnt offer any internships to anyone, so dont hope for one.
We especially suffer from the lack of good scholarships and loan facilities in the colleges. The scholarship given in our college is the very least available, which is very bad. The scholarship for graduation students should be at least 10000, but we are not providing it. This is so sad.
Wifi is very slow in our hostel, and the power connection is available for 24 hours, but it frequently goes on and off. The meals are average, and the hostels are not affordable. There is poor maintenance and no feedback system. Additionally, the registration process is also very difficult.
My conclusion about the college is that it is the worst, especially in terms of management. They lack cooperation, they are dishonest, and they themselves are unsure of how to handle or resolve any issues.
