Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai - Placement Details and Companies Visiting

From 6th semester. Companies visited are TCS, and Accenture. Number of offers made up to 500 students.The highest and average package is 7 lakhs and 5.5 lakhs per annum. 96% of students were getting placements. My plan is to enter as a consultant in IT company in production planning.

From their 6th semester, they are eligible for their college placements. Companies like Amazon, Mr. Cooper, pega, and Zoho are visited and there are good placements. The highest package is about 20LPA from Amazon and a minimum of 6LPA. There is about a maximum of 95 %placements. My plan is to do a masters in IIT or abroad.

The Recruitment of fresh engineering graduates by all leading manufacturing sectors, and IT service sectors has drastically changed and started focusing on “Industry 4.0”. The campus hiring scenario and the process of selection have completely shifted towards industrial expectations in terms of skill sets. There is a big gap between the industrial expectations and the present syllabus of all engineering disciplines.

Placement training is started in the 5th semester. more than 250 companies visiting our college like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. The highest package in our college is 30 lacs per annum and the average package is 6 lacks per annum, more than 95 percent of students were placed in past years.
