Admissions under Convenor's Quota (70% of intake in each branch):

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

All the eligible applicants for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly by the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.

The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.

Admissions under Management Quota (30% of intake in each branch):

The seats shall be filled either based on rank obtained in EAMCET or on securing not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed +2 from Andhra Pradesh Board with PCM or other equivalent exams from a recognized board. And, the candidate must satisfy local or non-local status requirements as proposed by the Andhra Pradesh government.

Admission Process

Students must appear and qualify for the EAMCET entrance, to be eligible for admissions.

EAMCET Requirements

Students willing to appear for the Engineering exam have to pay a fee of INR 500, (SC/ST to pay INR 250). The following is a gist of the application submission procedure: 

• APSCHE releases the application form.
• There are 3 main steps involved in completing the EAMCET Application Form.
• The students must ensure that they fill the application and keep a print out of the payment receipt.
• Students must fill in their personal details and upload their recent photograph along with the signature.

• AP Online Transaction ID/Credit Card or Debit Card transaction details
• Hall ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination
• Scanned images of photograph and signature
• Date of Birth, Birth District, Birth State
• Aadhaar Card details
• Details of qualifying examination appeared or appearing
• Local Status (SVU/AU/OU/Non-local)
• Admit card number of SSC or equivalent examination Certificate
• Income of Parents (Income up to INR 1 lakh or up to INR 2 lakhs).
• Academic details.
• Category (SC, ST, or any other backward caste) and application number of the Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST only).
