How does your college prepare students for placement and higher education?

"We offer training programs for placement preparation and coaching for higher studies entrance exams"

The diversity of students that we have in our college categories them in two categories, where most of them participate campus placements and want to get placed in the reputed organization and a some of the students want to pursue higher studies (MS, M.TECH, MBA). For the one who wants to do a job right after Graduation, we conduct appropriate training programs and personality development sessions for them to make them interview and corporate ready. And those students who want to go for higher studies, proper coaching for exams like TOEFL, IELTS, CAT and GATE and guidance is provided to them by us. 

How do you prepare your students to face this competitive world with courage and confidence?

"By motivating them to do certification courses in latest technologies and attend contents like Hackathons"

We regularly encourage our students to work on their aptitude, reasoning, verbal and programming languages and get them certified in modern technical certification such as Java Sun certification etc. and we assist them in every possible way. We also conduct coding contests like Hackathons to make our students technically skillful and programs like “Hackathon” to make our students technically skillful and competent.

What difficulties are you facing as a placement head and what are your ways to overcome them?

"Communication sometimes becomes a roadblock for us but we provide good training to our students for that"

Our college usually gets more admissions from rural areas, so sometimes communication becomes a barrier between us and students. And because in today's time every organization expects their employees to be amazing communicators and technically proficient persons and hence we provide a unique tool called "Mepro Tool" to such students to help them improve their speaking and listening skills and make them more confident to face this world.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practices of industry? 

"It comprises subjects and courses which are included after suggestions of industry people"

We draft and upgrade our curriculum after rigorous analysis of the industrial demands and consultation with the industry people about their best practices, new developments and expectations from our students. And we also take suggestions from Technical HR's and our Alumni who are already working in reputed organizations. 

How does your college enhance the faculty skills and prepare them as per industry standards?

"They are trained through faculty development programs and NPTEL courses"

We encourage our faculty members to attend the faculty development programs developed by reputed organizations like Wipro, in order to upgrade their skills and knowledge. Apart from this, NPTEL exams also help them a lot to stay updated with what's going on in the educational and industrial world and in which areas they should focus more.

What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths and how it can be enhanced?

"Our college infrastructure and disciplined environment makes us strong and resilient"

According to me our college’s biggest strength is our disciplined environment and that too not in students but in teaching and non-teaching staff. In addition to this, our infrastructure which is equipped with modern facilities, labs, amazing placement cell and digital classrooms makes us strong.

Any valuable advice which you would like to give to the students to have a prosperous career ahead? 

"Keep learning and also maintain good marks in exams to sit for interviews of reputed companies"

I would suggest to my students to perform well and secure good grades in exams, because good grades are one of the criteria to sit in any company's interview. Along with this, get yourself certified in the latest technologies as that would help you a lot to work effectively in this digital yet challenging world.
