Students can attend the campus placements from 6 semesters onwards and by the year of completion. Almost every eligible deserving student gets placed in some company. The salary packages offered vary from 3 LPA to 15 LPA, and it is a very good salary package for freshers. Around 70+ companies will be visiting for recruitment. The college provides 90% placements for sure.
5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. companies like Dow, Titan, Infosys, Wipro, TVS, Deloitte, amazon, cognizant, Accenture, Yamaha, and Siemens to name a few take part in the placement drive. the average offer is 4.7LPA and the highest offer is 25LPA. 98.82 percent of students getting placement. my plan is to get the placement.
Shri Venkateswara University (SVU) offers civil engineering with an intake of 40 students. The department of civil engineering so far has awarded 42 Ph.D. and 352 MTech degrees. More than 60% of the students obtain MTech admissions in IISC and IITs in various civil engineering disciplines every year.
