IITM Pune Training & Placement

This Induction training program consists of 3 Semesters. In the first two semesters core, advanced courses will be taught and in the last semester a project will be given. Top National and International faculty will also be available to handle different training programs. The Ph. D trainees get opportunities to visit and exposure to international institutions. Many National and International industrial visits and conferences are organized for the professional development of the students.

After completing the induction training program students get placed in any one of the institutions of the ministry of the Earth Sciences as Scientists with grades B/C/D based on the performance and qualifications within the training program.

Laboratories: There are standard laboratories with all facilities to carry out various research activities
