DMS IIT Delhi Admission 2024: Fees, Cutoff, Selection Criteria, Eligibility

DMS IIT Delhi offers 2 years MBA in General Specialisations and MBA with Specialization in Telecom. Interested candidates can apply for both programs by fulfilling required eligibility requirements.

Eligibility:

• For MBA: Bachelors in any stream from a recognized university, Must have minimum 60% marks.
• For MBA (Telecom): Bachelors in branches of Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (minimum 4 years after 10+2)/ Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics, CA/ICWA, Must have minimum 60% marks.
• For Foreign National eligibility: Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (Minimum 4 years after 10+2) or Master's degree in any branch of Physical /Chemical /Mathematical Sciences like Physics/Chemistry /Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Application/Electronics Science/ Environmental Science/Operations Research /Computation/Information Science/Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce/Economics with minimum 60% Marks in aggregate.
• Valid CAT/GMAT (for Foreign nationals) score

IIT Delhi MBA Selection Criteria:

Candidates are considered for PI shortlisting process only with minimum CAT cut off.

Candidates will be called based on the Shortlisting Index (SI). SI is computed as per declared weightage in 6 parameters. The detail is given below in the table:

• After PI, DMS IIT Delhi will declare the final admission list of candidates. The admission shortlist criteria weightage is not declared for MBA . However, as WAT will not be conducted, the admission criteria i9s expected to be as follows:

2. After CAT result declare, visit DMS IIT Delhi site: dms.iitd.ac.in
3. Click on MBA program in the Admission section
4. Check Tentative dates and Tab on “Click here to apply”
5. Read the eligibility requirements and instructions carefully
6. Register in “New registration”
7. Log in and fill the application form with requirement details
8. Upload documents such as Passport size Photograph, Signature, CAT score card of 2022
9. Candidates can apply for both MBA and MBA (Telecom)
10. Pay application fee amount of INR 1600 (General, GEN-EWS and OBC) for one program and INR 3200 (General, GEN-EWS and OBC) for two programs.

DMS IIT Delhi offers an Executive MBA program in Technology Management. The duration of the program is 3 years through the evening class schedule on 4 or 5 working days.

Eligibility: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Computer Application, Economics, Commerce and CA/ICWAI

AND

• Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years / semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the above mentioned degree programmes are essential for admission.
• For SC/ST/PH category Students, minimum performance in the qualifying degree with postgraduate qualification is relaxed from 60% to 55% (CGPA relaxed from 6.00 to 5.50).
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying degree work experience as on 01 August 2023.

Key Notes: 

• 5% relaxation is granted for candidates belonging to reserved categories. 

DMS IIT Delhi Executive MBA Selection Criteria

• Admission process of IIT Delhi EMBA for 2023 will involve only a Personal Interview round.

• Candidates will be selected based on quality of work experience, academic qualification and personal interview performance.

DMS IIT Delhi offers PhD degree in research areas such as Economics; Finance & Accounting; Information Technology & Systems; Marketing; Operations, and Supply Chain Management; and Strategy, and Technology Management. The minimum duration of the program is 2 years for M.tech qualified candidates and 3 Years for B.tech or equivalent qualified candidates. Candidates are allowed to submit their final thesis within 7 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria details is given in tabulated form:

For Part-time and Sponsored (full-time) Ph.D, employees of Public Sector Undertakings or Government Departments or Research and Development Organizations or Private Industries (approved by Faculty Boards). Candidates must have a minimum 60% in PG qualification and 70% in Four years Bachelor’s qualification.

Note: Sponsored Candidates must provide “Sponsorship Certificate” and Part-time candidates must “No Objection Certificate” from the organization.

DMS IIT Delhi Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

Shortlisting Criteria:

• B.Tech/B.E. degree holders must have 75% or equivalent CGPA.
• For PG qualification,candidates with minimum 60%marks) or equivalent grade score (GPA) are shortlisted for PI.
• For Full Time PhD with assistantship, candidates must have a GATE score >= 300 or UGC (Lectureship or Research Fellowship), CSIR, ICAR, ICMR, DST and INSPIRE.
• Candidates with M.Tech/ME/ M.A./M.Sc. from IITs/B.E./B.Tech/Integrated M.Sc. from IITs/CFTIs/MBA degree from IITs or IISc (admission through JMET) and minimum CGPA 8.0 are exempted from Entrance score requirement.
• For Part-Time and Full-Time sponsored candidates, shortlisting criteria is minimum 8 years work experience.

The final selection process of Ph.D includes SOP and Personal Interview performance conducted online.

Note: 5% relaxation and minimum 200 GATE score is offered for SC/ST/PH students.

DMS IIT Delhi Ph.D Fellowship

• DMS IIT Delhi award Teaching/Research Assistantship for finance aid to the scholars.
• Candidates with B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc / M.Tech or equivalent qualification, are offered INR 31,000 Per month for first 2 year of registration and NR 35,000 Per month for next 3 years.
