Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to a 4-year full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

Candidate must have studied Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies with above-mentioned marks in the above subjects taken together from any recognized Board/Council. The mentioned marks of SC/ST and OBC are for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State. Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying examination are also eligible. Maharashtra State candidate must have to appear for MHT-CET. All India candidates need to appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains will be preferred over MHT-CET.

The candidate who has passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply.

I chose IT in the college because the reputation of IT at VIIT is good. Student to faculty ratio is around 1 teacher to 25 students. The teaching method is good. The exams happen every 2-3 months and the level is easy to moderate, one can easily pass the exams by studying for 2 weeks.

Students to Faculty ratio is about 1 faculty to 25 students. The teaching method is quite good . Faculty members are very helpful and supportive. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:10. Most of the faculties have done Phd in their subjects. The teaching method is also good. we have mid-semester and end-semester examinations and one can pass exams easily if a person studies in timely.
