Course Description
For applying to the PG courses at NIFT Delhi, candidates are required to satisfy the PG eligibility criteria settled by the NIFT. As the admission to all the courses will be based on merit obtained by the candidates in NIFT Entrance Examinations, candidates are required to apply for the NIFT Delhi Entrance examination conducted by the authorities. Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Secondary School Examination/10th AND
- Passed 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE/AIU/UGC or a State Board of Technical Education in courses related to Fashion/Apparel/Textile/Home Science/Handloom Technology.
- Passed Senior Secondary/12th recognized by AIU with Physics and Mathematics.
- Students who have completed 02 years UG Diploma Programme at NIFT after passing Senior Secondary Examination/ 12th Standard.
Admission Guidelines
- The selection of Bachelor of Fashion Technology courses will be purely entrance-based.
- Candidates are required to score the valid score in NIFT Delhi Entrance Examination conducted by the authorities at NIFT Delhi.
- The selection process follows counseling sessions as well.
- Candidates who perform well in Personal Interviews are however preferred.

NIFT Delhi B.FTech. Eligibility
- The candidates must have qualified in 12th level examinations by any of recognized board i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board of Secondary Education New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

This course is perfect for somehow who wants to know about how the apparel industry works, in this course, we particularly focus on apparel production.
The class strength is 35 students.
All professors are highly qualified and experienced.
They all are nice and understanding.
Some teachers are strict but I think they need it because the subjects they taught they are very important to us, and if we don't study those subjects it leads to problems when we go into the industry, so to make ensure that every student must study the important subject they act little strict.
There is no exam curriculum in NIFT students are marked on continuous evaluation, we have to do 3 assignments
2 assignments are marked out of 30 and the last assignment is 40 marks which is actually a jury you have to present your work to jury members.
3 members in the jury panel.

I had a keen interest in fashion and wanted to do something which streamlined my science background. And I found this course exciting and challenging simultaneously, which made me choose this course.
As the class strength is smaller in numbers, every permanent and guest faculty knows every student and tries to help everyone with their career.
Most of the faculties are post-graduates, and some have doctorate affiliations they try to teach the students practical knowledge of the industry, which they have experienced firsthand during their careers.
We have one mid-term examination, an end-term examination, and a final jury. We were evaluated based on our continuous progress throughout the semester.
