About UIET
The University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET) Maharshi Dayanand University is one of the largest institutes in Haryana. Established in 2005, the college offers quality education with exceptional infrastructural facilities. The college is recognised by AICTE. The university aims to impart education and expertise in the field of Science and technology.
It offers 6 B.Tech. programmes and 5 M.Tech. programmes. The admission to B.Tech. is done on merit basis while for M.Tech. admission is based on GATE score (If GATE students are not available, then through the university’s entrance exam). The admission is done online.

UIET Rohtak Admission
The admission to B.Tech. is on the basis of JEE mains score whereas for M.Tech. students are given admission on the basis of GATE score or the University entrance exam.
Admission to 3rd semester B.Tech. is done on the basis of LEET(Legal Education Eligibility Test) exam scores.

The packages and recruiters of UIET MDU, Rohtak are eye-catching and are a reason to select this institute. The various recruiters who visit the institute and search for prospective candidates are Maruti Suzuki, TCS, ICICI Bank, HCL, TechMahindra, Wipro, Asian Paints, and Location Labs.
The institute also provides training sessions to students to hone their skills in the field. This gives practical exposure to the students. Recent placements of the UIET MDU are to Wipro. The past few years’ placements include 87 candidates who were offered work at Infosys, 12 students at JSW Steels Ltd., around 50 students got shortlisted for 2nd round of selection at Nagarro and 11 candidates got selected for Lucas TVS.
