About
The Law School, Banaras Hindu University, is a distinguished college. The college was founded by the national leader Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. The University is known for its modern campus, environment, quality faculties, Values, and cultures. The Faculty of Law, BHU offers courses like LL.B, B.A.LL.B, LL.M, and Ph.D. The admission is based on the entrance exam conducted by the BHU. The BHU UET(entrance exam) is conducted both in paper mode as well as online mode. The Faculty of Law, BHU is the pioneer in introducing full-time 3 years LL.B and 2 years of LL.M.
The Faculty of Law, BHU is one of the chief universities of faculties, which is ranked as the largest residential institution in Asia. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2018 the University stands 3rd place in the overall ranking of universities, released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD).

Faculty of Law BHU Scholarships
- Faculty of law, BHU provides the financial assistance of Rs.5000 for blind students per annum (at least for 20 blind students).
- For a maximum of 100 students belonging to backward class, the University provides Rs.2000 per annum.
- The University encourages students who have secured first and second rank by providing Rs.4000 and Rs.3000 respectively.
- The handicapped students are given a grant of Rs.4000 for their entire course. Along with these provisions students can avail the scholarship provided by the various states. Students can also take education loans.
