MIC College of Technology Admission 2023: UG & PG Admissions, Application process

MIC College of Technology offers admission to B.Tech. programs on the basis of performance in the state level entrance known as the AP EAMCET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have passed at the 10+2 level from the science stream to be eligible to apply.

AP EAMCET consists of a 3-hour paper with 90 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the engineering field.

• There are a total of 160 questions.
• The paper consists of MCQs and the test is conducted online.
• Each correct answer is worth one mark.

Candidates are selected in 2 categories – Category A which accounts for 70% of the seats which will be filled by the Convener. Category B comprises 30% of the seats to be filled by the college itself, in line with the rules of the state govt. Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate program offered at MIC College of Technology may do so by applying online through the official website.

• Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India
• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
• Selection is based on merit, depending on score from the EAMCET examination.

MIC College of Technology offers admission to M.Tech. program on the basis of performance in GATE, the national level entrance conducted collectively by the IITs. Alternatively, candidates can qualify through AP PGECET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. For MBA and MCA, EAMCET scores are considered.

GATE consists of a 3-hour paper with 65 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the field as studied at the undergraduate level.

• Sections are included on general aptitude as well as technical aspects.
• The questions are objective type or numeric type.
• One or two marks is given for every correct response, and 1/3^rd mark is deducted for incorrect answer.

Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate programs offered by MIC College of Technology may do so by applying online through the official website for GATE, or with the institute via PGECET / EAMCET.

• Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India.  
• GATE / PGECET / EAMCET score is considered according to the category specified at the time of applying.
• Once the rank list for GATE / PGECET / EAMCET has been released, candidates are required to wait for counselling process for seat allocation.
