Vidyasagar College Admission 2023: Final Merit List (Released), Registration (Open), Eligibility, Merit List, Fees

Vidyasagar College invites application for admission to UG courses under various specializations in Arts and Science. Higher Secondary Examination qualified candidates will be eligible for admission. Selection will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.

The college will upload the merit list on the official website and admission will be considered according to the same. Applicants belonging to the SC/ST category with 40% marks secured in the qualifying examination will be eligible for admission.

Vidyasagar College offers admission to the 2 post-graduation courses. Admission will be either based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination or marks secured in the entrance examination. 60% of the total intake will be merit-based and the rest 40% intakes will be according to the performance in the entrance examination.

Vidyasagar College allows admission in the PG courses through the following two procedures:

• 60% of the total seats will be filled on the merit score of the candidates obtained in BA/B.Sc. courses. This is applicable only for the candidates of Calcutta University.
• 40% of the total seats will be filled by taking an admission test. The test is conducted by the college itself. This is applicable to the candidates of other universities outside of Calcutta University.

FEES: Feasible. It is the bare minimum. Approximately, INR 10,000 per annum for Physics. It varies with different courses. Everything is affordable enough for people of all backgrounds. Lab facilities & Seminars are also provided.

COURSE CURRICULUM: It is strictly according to the Calcutta University Curriculum. A Mid Term Test is also held to analyse the performances. There's Parent Teacher Meeting as well in order to familiarise our guardians with the teaching staff.
