JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), established in 1997, is primarily an engineering college located in Bangalore. JSSATE is managed by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.
JSSATE offers Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses in Engineering and Management. The institute offers a 4-year B.E./B.Tech course (intake of 120 students per branch) and 2- year M.Tech course (intake of 18 students per branch). The institute also offers a 2-year MBA degree.

Candidates applying for the B.Tech course should have passed Class 12th or any equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects either Chemistry or Biology or Electronics or Computer Science and should have scored a minimum aggregate marks of 45% (40% for reserved category)
Admission to the B.Tech course is done on the basis of marks secured in KCET/COMEDK-UGET examinations. Candidates need to appear for these qualifying examinations and choose JSSATE as their institute of choice during the counselling. Verification of documents and offline counselling will be held for the shortlisted candidates later at the campus.

1.I got government seat in jssateb so i choose to join because it is one of the best colleges in bangalore and it is near to my place. 2.I choose this college over other colleges because it has good teaching and pllacements. 3.I got rejected in another college because of scores in DCET exam and because of my caste category. 4.The admission process of my college will be, you can join my college from exams like cet and dcet where your fee will around 1lakh 10 thousand around for engineering and you can also join my college by management category and where the fee is little higher and the cutoffs will be vary from every year and it depends on the caste category which you belong in too.
