Alagappa University, Distance Education (DDE) Admission 2023: Courses, Fee, Eligibility, Dates

DDE under Alagappa University offers the admission twice a year i.e. Calendar year Admission and Academic Year Admission. Candidates can apply either through Direct Admission Process through the University or via Learning Centers as discussed below:

Direct Application Process through University:

ONLINE

1. Go to the university website. 
2. Click on the online application form link, download the PDF version and fill all the details correctly.
3. Send the application fees along with the application form and the required decuments to the following website.

OFFLINE

1. Visit the University personally.
2. Make the payment of the application fees and obtain the application form.
3. The application fees can be paid by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, DDE,Alagappa University” payable at Karaikudi.

Following are the documents that have to be enclosed along with the application form at the time of direct admission:

1. Original HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested by the Gazetted Officer (Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification).
2. Student Index Card along with stamp size photo and signature.
3. Application fee in the form of Demand Draft.
4. No Transfer Certificate will have to be submitted. However, a 'Course Completion Certificate' may be issued for those candidates who apply for it.

Application through Learning Centers:

1. Candidates can also apply directly at the University’s Learning Centers. The list of centers can be downloaded from the official website.
2. In this process, the candidates have to submit two DD’s separately.
3. One DD will be in the favor of The Director, DDE, Alagappa University, payable at Karaikudi towards the University Share, and the other in favor of the Learning Centre concerned.
4. The cost of application and prospectus for all the post graduation courses is INR 300. For all other courses the application fee in INR 100.

The documents that have to be submitted at the Learning Centre along with the application form are same as when applying through the University directly.
