No, the fees are non-refundable, and the candidates who are enrolling themselves for various courses at the institute are required to pay the non-refundable registration fee of INR 10,000 with the first year tuition fee. Candidates are required to be sure for admission at they cannot withdraw it. 

Ans. Yes, the institute provides an accommodation facility separately to both girls and boys. There are 14 hostels allotted to the boys with 200 to 1000 students in each block. The total capacity for the men's hostel is about 7500. Whereas there are 7 girls hostel with a capacity of 250 to 700 in each block, and the total capacity is around 4000.

Ans. Yes, NRI sponsored quota is available for students at the institute. But NRI Sponsored candidates have to wait in order to get admission as they will be allotted seats on the last priority over the foreign and NRI candidates. Also they can only be sponsored through parents or blood relatives.

Department of Physics & NanoTechnology has strong bonding with Shizuoka University, Japan, Flinders University, Australia and National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan apart from that the institute has partnership with GNS Science, New Zealand for fundamental and applied research, and the development of innovative products. 

Ans. A dual degree course is a program in which a student can work parallely for two different university degrees. SRM allows UG and PG both curriculum at Dual Degree. Some Dual Degrees are B.Tech & M.S, M.Tech & M.S and MBA Dual.
