Ranga Raya Medical College was begun as a private school in 1958 by Dr. M. V. Krishnarao, who was a Minister of Education in the composite Madras state.
The Ranga Raya Medical College is a subsidiary of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. It is situated in Kakinada, A.P.
