Doctorate of Medicine [MD] (Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology) From NEIGRIHMS, Shillong

The candidates must possess MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have completed One Year Internship training. Every student, selected for admission to postgraduate courses shall possess recognised MBBS degree or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India, or any of the State Medical Councils or should obtain the same within on month from the date of his admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.

This course began in the year 2009-10. There are 8 specializations for the MS courses. They are anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, microbiology, pathology,among others.

NEIGRIHMS Shillong MD/MS Eligibility Criteria

• One has to be a permanent resident of India and also a domicile of one of the north-eastern states including Sikkim or a permanent resident of the north-east. 
• The candidate has to possess an MBBS degree from a recognised institute. 

NEIGRIHMS Shillong MD/MS Selection Criteria

• Admission will be based on the national level entrance exam for post graduate medical courses. 
• Based on your scores in the NEET-PG exam for post graduate courses, you will be called for counselling.

• You have to pay an application fee as well. 
• Details of application is available on the website where the notifications are put up for the PG admissions. 
• Fill the form for NEET examination which is the national level eligibility test 
• Wait for the cut-off list
• Once the cut-offs are declared, look for your name in the list for counselling.
