National Institute of Fashion Technology or NIFT was set up at Bhubaneshwar in the year 2010 under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. Of India. The college conducts numerous several UG and PG level degree courses for eligible students. At UG level, the college offers 4 specializations in B. Des. Course and 1 specialization under B. F. Tech. For Graduates, there is Master of Fashion Management course available on campus.
Admissions to both UG and PG courses are done via means of common entrance test conducted by NIFT followed by a situation test.
