University College of Engineering Ariyalur, is one of the Constituent College of Anna University, Chennai by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The institution was established in the year 2008, is an AICTE approved college.
The Training & Placement cell of UCEA was set up in 2010 and is an important part of this institution. The amazing infrastructure of the Institute makes it easy for different activities of placement like pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews to take place as per the requirements of the organizations.

- Library: University College of Engineering Ariyalur College library was established in 2009. The library has 13,084 volumes of books covering all major fields of Science Engineering and subscribes to most of the major technical journals, magazines, and newspapers. The Library has the following facilities for the faculty, staff, and the students: Periodical section, Reference Section, Internet, CD-ROM collection, and a separate section of Competitive Exam Books.
- Hostel: The college has a boys hostel for accommodating 200 students and a girls hostel for accommodating 250 students. Hence the construction of a hostel for boys & girls provides a suitable atmosphere for comfortable stay and study.
- Sports: Diff-diff facilities are provided to play all the major games. Under the guidance of specialized coaches for all the different games, the players are given exposure to tournaments at various levels like state level, national level, and All India inter-university Level Competitions. Our players won the Bronze medal in All India inter-university fencing Competitions during the years 2010-2011. The improvement of playgrounds will provide a better opportunity for the students to participate at various levels.

Ans. The exam structure is very good. The faculties prepare the students paper according to the syllabus so that students easily understand the question and answer accordingly.

Ans. No, you need not have to pay the development/ excess fee of the college. because the institute is directly under the control of anna university so that you have to only pay tuition and hostel fees only. It is very much feasible for the students from the Backward categories.
Ques. What about placements from UCEA?
Ans. Yearly, for each batch at the session end, the college organizes placement interview classes for nearly two weeks for all departments separately. This helps the students to know how to perform in an interview nearly. Nearly 20 companies come with an average salary package of 1LPA- 2LPA.
