Aspirants seeking admission to 3-year Full-time Diploma must have passed a 10th examination or its equivalent with subjects mathematics, General science and English with minimum 35% marks in aggregate.
K.K. Wagh Education Society conducts Diploma in Engineering Technology programs through three AICTE-approved Polytechnics that are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

As per Govt. of Maharashtra rules, 10% of annual sanctioned intake is reserved for direct entry into the second year of the program for deserving candidates. Total intake capacity for the program is 1230.

Candidates who fulfill either of the following conditions are eligible to direct entry into the second year of Diploma in Engineering Technology.
All admission decisions are based on SSC/HSC/ITI results only. Seat Allocation is through CAP conducted by DTE. The cut-off score recorded during the AY 2018 – 19 for each specialization option is presented below:
