Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art offers an Under-Graduation course of four-year duration in Bachelors of Fine Arts.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks. Admission is done on the basis of MH-AAC-CET entrance examination. Candidates from Maharashtra and Outside Maharashtra (OMS) are both eligible to apply for this entrance exam, provided OMS candidates cannot apply for CAP counselling conducted by the Maharashtra candidates. OMS Candidate can apply through institute level seats. CAP counselling is conducted for Maharashtra state candidates on the basis of entrance score for final admission.

The college offers two basic Apprentice Training Courses in Photography and Interior Decoration, which are both part-term courses for a one-year duration.

The application form must be filled and submitted through online process only. The application fees must also be paid online.
- Candidates must visit the official website of DOA to apply online.
- Fill the asked information and enter a password and click on Next.
- Candidate will receive a confirmation email confirming the registration of the candidate.
- After editing and checking the details, upload current passport photograph and signature in jpg/jpeg format in ‘Upload Photograph & Signature’ and click on Submit.
- Pay the application fees via online gateway, select the mode of payment and click on Pay.
- After payment, click on Generate MH-AAC-CET Registration Confirmation Page and save it for future reference.
