National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhopal was established in the year 2008. The courses offered by the Institute are FDCT (Fashion Design and Clothing Technology), B.Des. (Accessory Design), B.Des. (Textile Design) and MFM (Masters of Fashion Management).
- Minimum eligibility to apply at NIFT Bhopal in FDCT and B.Des. Program is passing 10+2 examination or equivalent examination.
- Candidates applying to MFM course must hold a three-year Diploma or three or four year graduate degree.
- Admissions to FDCT are given on basis of Personal Interview or Group Discussion.
- Admission to B.Des. and MFM are done on basis of NIFT Entrance Exam score followed by Situation Test/ Group Discussion or Personal Interview.
- 15% (Supernumerary) Reservation is available for Foreign Nationals/SAARC/NRI candidates.
- OBC (Non-creamy)/SC/ST candidates also get a reservation of 27%, 15%, and 7.5% respectively.
- Reservation percentage for State Domicile/PHP candidates are 20% (Supernumerary) and 3% (Horizontal) respectively.

NIFT Bhopal FDCT and B.Des. Admission 2023
NIFT offers admission to FDCT on basis of merit followed by Personal Interview/ Group Discussion. Admissions to B.Des. Courses are done on basis of NIFT score.
The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in these courses requires the candidate to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Key Points to remember for FDCT and B.Des. Admission:
- The upper age limit is 23 years for General candidates and for SC/ ST/PHP candidate is 28 years.
- Candidates having 3 / 4 years diploma recognised by AICTE/State Board of Technical Education are also eligible for admission.
- Foreign students with General Certificate Education (GEC) at Advance Level (A level)/ International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply for these courses.
- Duration of FDCT program is one-year. Whereas, the duration for B.Des. Course is four-year.
- Foreign Nationals/SAARC/NRI candidates looking for admissions to B.Des. must clear any SAT Entrance Exam held before April 30.
- The total intake for FDCT/B.Des. Course is 30 students each.
NIFT Bhopal MFM Admission 2023
NIFT offers admission to MFM program to the candidates with three-year diploma or three/four-year graduate degree from any Institute/ University recognized by Law in India.
Final selection of the candidates is based upon the scores obtained in NIFT entrance exam.
