National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hyderabad commonly known as NIFT Hyderabad was established in 1995 and offers several UG and PG level degree courses for eligible students. Eligibility criteria
- The candidates must have completed their Graduation in respective discipline in which they are aspiring to pursue Post Graduation from any recognised college/University.
- Candidates having completed undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT / NID are also eligible to apply.

Selection criteria
- The candidates are selected on the basis of the selection process which comprises a written examination comprising a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) for shortlisted candidates of the written examination.
- For M.Des, a Creative Ability Test (CAT) is also taken by the authorities along with GAT.
