Culinary Academy of India (CAI) was established in the year 2004 in Hyderabad, Telangana. CAI is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad.

CIA offers Bachelor’s Degree in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts of 3-years with intake of 60 candidates, Post Graduate Diploma in Culinary Arts of 1-year duration with the intake of 30 students, and Certificate course in Food Production and Patisserie of One and half year duration with the total capacity of 40 students.

  • The application form will be collected from the college office in person or be downloaded from the college’s website.
  • Payment of the application fee could be done through the Demand Draft/Cash.
  • Applicants who have passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board are eligible to get admission in the Bachelor’s Degree program.
  • Candidates who have BHM/ BBA/ BBM/ BHHM and equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University are considered eligible for PG Diploma program.
  • Students who have passed SSC/ Class 10th or its equivalent examination in any discipline with English as a medium of instruction are eligible to get admission in Certificate course.
  • Admission to Bachelor’s Degree and PG Diploma course is given through All India Entrance Examination held in Hyderabad including candidate’s performance in GD and PI.
  • Selection of the candidate for admission to certificate course is done on the basis of his/ her marks obtained in the written test, GD, and PI conducted by the college.

Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad Application Process

Students have tio apply separately for each course and are admitted to the course during the month of June every year. They can collect the application form in person from the college office and pay the application fee through DD.

Steps to apply are given below:-

  • Collect the application form from the college or download it from the college’s website, http://www.iactchefacademy.com
  • Visit the website and under “Why” tab select the course you want to join.
  • Click on the “Download Application Form” link on the page of the selected program,
  • Fill up the application form
  • Pay the application fee of RS. 500 in cash or through DD favoring Paragon Educational Society, payable at Hyderabad.
  • Attach all the documents.
  • Submit the form either in person or through the post.

Culinary Academy of India UG Courses Admission 2023

Culinary Academy of India runs Bachelor’s Degree program in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts of 3-years duration with the intake of 60 students. Those who have passed HSC/ 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in any stream or have applied for BCT and CA are considered eligible to get admission in the Bachelor’s Degree program offered by the college.

Admission to the course is given on the basis of candidate’s performance in All India Entrance Examination held in Hyderabad only including Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the Institute.

Culinary Academy of India PG Diploma Course Admission 2023

Post Graduate Diploma in Culinary Arts of 1-year duration with the intake of 30 students is offered by Culinary Academy of India.

Students who have done any of these courses viz. Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Bachelor of Business Management / Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel / Hospitality, Graduates in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Business Administration (Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism streams) with minimum two years of instruction in food production, B.Sc. Hotel Management, B.A. in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts graduates from any recognized University are eligible to apply for admission to PG Diploma course.

Admission to this program is given on the basis of candidate’s marks obtained in All India Entrance Examination conducted in Hyderabad only followed by Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and a Trade Test.

Culinary Academy of India Certificate Course Admission 2023

Culinary Academy of India offers full-time one and a half year duration Culinary Certificate course in Food Production and Patisserie with a capacity of 40 seats to the aspirants. Students who have passed or appearing in SSC/ 10th or its equivalent examination with English as the medium of instruction are considered eligible to get admission in the Certificate course.

Admission to the program is given based on candidate’s performance in the written test, group discussion and personal interview round.
