Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanicaland automation engineering) is an undergraduate programme that deals with with designing and manufacturing of engineering components by applying advanced methodologies coupled with industrial automation
It is a 4 years undergraduate programme with 8 semesters, each one of 6 months span. The candidates have to undergo industrial training or internship during the final year of the course.
The eligibility criteria for the course is that the candidates should have passed the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized council or university. The candidates should also pass the entrance exam, conducted both on the national and state level.

Admissions to the BE Mechanical and Automation course is based on scores secured in any of the entrance examinations conducted by various agencies or institutes.
- Registration Process for entrance: For registration in any of the entrance examinations, candidates must visit the official website of the entrance conducting body
- Form fillup : After the registration process, fill the application form with essential personal and educational details like name, father’s name, marks secured in the last qualifying examination etc . Then upload the photograph and signature of the candidate.
- Payment : Make necessary payment of application fee either through Debit/ Credit card or Net Banking and complete the registration process.
- Download Admit card: The conducting body provides a link for downloading admit cards of the entrance examination after a stipulated date and time.

- After Entrance: List of successful candidates in such entrance would be made available in the exam conducting body’s website.
