Ques. Which college is better for BMS, Hinduja or KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce?

● Top Answer By Rohit Shah on 04 Sept 21

Ans. I have a few friends from KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, so I can give you some insight into their BMS course.  KJ Somiya is not a good option if you really want to pursue BMS for knowledge and not just for the sake of a degree. The teaching experience for BMS at KJ Somiya will not be satisfactory.  If you prefer knowledge over a degree, then you should go to some other better colleges such as MCC in Mulund. But, if you just want a degree in BMS then you can opt for KJ Somaiya. KJ Somaiya has a huge campus. This is advantageous if you want to bunk lectures and have fun sometimes.Read more

Ques. What are the salary packages after a BMS from DU?

● Top Answer By Pooja Rampal on 06 Oct 22

Ans. The colleges that will offer Bachelors with honors courses in management studies have finally been identified by Delhi University. The course is offered by six colleges in total: Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, College of Vocational Studies, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Maharaja Agrasen College, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. The new course was implemented following the discontinuation of the BBE, BBS, and BFIF courses. These courses were extremely popular, and nearly all of the students were placed. There were 891 seats available across all three courses. The introduction of the BMS course has reduced the number by 51, which has enraged many applicants.  Keshav Mahavidyalaya is an off-campus college that is one of Delhi University's youngest and fastest growing, it has also provided exceptional placements for BMS. Top companies such as AT Kearney, S&P CapIQ, CEB, SmartCube, McKinsey Knowledge Center, Google, Grail Research , and others have recruited students from the college in recent years. The Department of Management Studies has a strong alumni network that provides students with numerous opportunities. Thus, well-deserving BMS students from KMV can easily get campus placement, and the average package is around 4.5-5 Lakhs, with the highest offered in the previous year being 9.5 Lakhs.Read more

Ques. Which is a better option, IPM from IIM Rohtak or BMS from Shaheed Sukhdev?

● Top Answer By Shyam Seth on 31 Jul 21

Ans. Having some of my friends study in both colleges, I can say that enrolling in Shaheed Sukhdev for BMS would be much more apt than that of IIM Rohtak for IPM. Both the colleges hold their places enormously but Shaheed Sukhdev will be better due to their overall educational experience. There are several reasons for choosing it, some are: BMS as compared to IPM is a much older course. The placement of Shaheed Sukhdev reached heights due to their BMS course. The highest package offered to the students of Sukhdev College was around 18 LPA (latest). You can also get a chance to do your MBA from some other top IIMs in the country later on in life. Moreover, IPM Rohtak would be taking in its second batch, and hence no point in talking about placements. Categories IPM at IIM Rohtak BMS at Shaheed Sukhdev Course Fee 30.75 lakh 40,075 Course Duration 5 years 3 years Highest CTC 24 LPA 19.25 LPA Average CTC 13 LPA 8-10 LPA Recruiting Companies Amazon, Accenture, Berger, Capgemini, etc. Google, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, etc. It is suggested that you choose BMS over IPM. Though, both have their pros and cons but opting for BMS is worth more than IPM. Also, Sukhdev has a great market reputation and placement record. After all, it’s your decision that matters. Think appropriately for yourself. Good Luck.Read more
