The BPT admission varies from college to college. Depending on the university the entrance exam or merit-based admission is carried out. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria and then apply for the said course.

  • The eligibility criteria which is common to most colleges is 50% marks in the 10+2 board exam.
  • Physics, chemistry and mathematics must be compulsory subjects in class 12.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a UG full-time 4.5 years program that includes a six months compulsory internship which is offered by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh (PGIMER). The BPT eligibility criteria are as follows Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology), Mathematics  OR Candidates who have studied abroad should have passed the equivalent qualification as determined by the Association of Indian Universities.
