SMAT (Sport Management Admission Test) is conducted by The International Institute of Sports Management.
- SMAT tests students’ skills in managerial aspects of the sports areas.
- The duration of the SMAT exam is 80 minutes.
- The total marks of the exam are 80.
- The total number of questions is 80.
- There are 5 sections in the exam namely Quantitative Analysis, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Sports Awareness, with each section having 16 marks.
SMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria
- General category: Minimum required percentage at the 10+2 and graduation level (Bachelor’s degree) is 50%
- Reserved Category: Minimum required percentage at the 10+2 and graduation level (Bachelor’s degree) is 45%

- Candidates must have completed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 50%
- Candidates must be from the Arts stream.
- Some of the colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission to the BSM course.
- Candidates who are waiting for their 12th result may also apply provisionally for the BSM program. Those candidates will have to submit their mark sheets on or before the last date.

- Verify your email and fill the online application form.
- Pay the application fee and upload the required documents.
- You will get an essay topic to write in your email. Write an essay and submit it within two days. Marks for this essay are 20.
- Prepare well for the entrance exam in advance.
- Appear in the SMAT exam. Due to the covid-19 pandemic authority has decided to allow students to join the SMAT exam from their home. For the SMAT exam, candidates need to have their Laptop/PC with a camera and microphone in working condition.
- After the exam, the result will be announced within a week, and soon after the Personal interview round of selected students will start.
- The final result of both stages will be declared within a week.
