Field of Study:
- MSc in Power Engineering at the Brandenburg University of Technology is a 2 years (4 semesters) program.
- The program starts in the winter semester.
- The international master’s program Power Engineering aims to convey knowledge of sustainable energy supply in the European context.
- The main focus of teaching centers on the concept of safe, affordable, and environmentally friendly energy generation.
- The program cooperates closely with regional and national energy providers in order to ensure practically oriented training, which should enable students to conduct independent and applied research.
- The program covers the entire spectrum of energy research in the field of traditional as well as renewable energies and is highly industry-oriented, with about one-third of all lectures and seminars being given by lecturers from the industry.

Tuition Fees
Students do not have to pay the tuition fees to study at TU Braunschweig, but only they have to pay is a semester fee of about 321.03 € per semester.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a Bachelor of Science in Power Engineering (electrical or thermal) or related engineering fields (or equivalent).
- Very good knowledge in basic areas of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Basics in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, as well as subject-specific knowledge in the areas of Electrical or Thermal Power Engineering is required.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
