Master of Arts [M.A] [Art History] From Ruhr University Bochum

Academic Eligibility:

• A Bachelor or comparable degree in the following disciplines:
  • Humanities and cultural studies
• Before starting the master’s degree, the student has to complete a mandatory consultation, for which a certificate is issued becomes.
• Furthermore, proof of language skills in Latin, English and, another modern foreign language is required. For example, Italian, French, Dutch or Spanish are strongly recommended.
  • Proof of languages ??is provided by corresponding school certificates (successful participation in language lessons over a period of at least 2 years), module certificates from university courses, or language certificates in courses

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Most of the courses at the RUB are held in German. Students must therefore have sufficient knowledge of German and provide evidence by obtaining one of the following language certificates:
  • TestDaF with at least 16 points within an examination
  • DSH (level 2 or 3)
  • German Language Diploma - DSD - II
  • ZOP or Goethe Certificate C2 from the Goethe Institute
  • KDS or GDS from the Goethe Institute
  • ÖSD language diploma C1
  • telc German C1 Hochschule
  • Assessment test (examination part German)

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
