Master of Arts [M.A] [Modern and contemporary art history] From Ruhr University Bochum

Academic Eligibility:

• Students who apply for the Master of Science program must have a Bachelor (or comparable) degree in Humanities and cultural studies.
• Before starting the course in Modern and Contemporary Art History the student has to complete a mandatory counseling interview, for which a certificate is issued.
• Furthermore, proof of language skills is required in English and two other modern foreign languages ??required. For example, Italian, French, Dutch or Spanish are strongly recommended.
  • Proof of languages takes place through corresponding school reports (successful participation in language lessons over a period of at least 2 years), module certificates from university Courses or through language certificates in courses.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Most of the courses at the RUB are held in German. Students must therefore have sufficient knowledge of German and provide evidence by obtaining one of the following language certificates:
  • TestDaF with at least 16 points within an examination
  • DSH (level 2 or 3)
  • German Language Diploma - DSD - II
  • ZOP or Goethe Certificate C2 from the Goethe Institute
  • KDS or GDS from the Goethe Institute
  • ÖSD language diploma C1
  • telc German C1 Hochschule
  • Assessment test (examination part German)
