Economics deals with the explanation and description of economic relationships as well as the possibilities for the realization of microeconomic and macroeconomic goals on individual markets or the economy as a whole. The range of topics ranges from general economic contexts to the behavior of individual households and companies to strategic economic policy problems in open economies. The boundary to business administration is fluid.
The Bachelor of Science in Economics is a professional degree that enables students to study quickly without any loss of quality thanks to the tight study organization. The course imparts application-related skills and methods based on a good basic theoretical education in economic theory, which enables graduates to analyze complex issues of economic theory and practice. In this way, the degree is intended to qualify students for taking up a professional activity but also for continuing university education.
