Tuition Fees
Friedrich Schiller University Jena does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 277 USD per semester as Semester contribution.
The international study programme Chemistry of Materials is research-oriented and provides, based on the education in a qualified undergraduate degree programme, the ability to work independently in a modern, interdisciplinary field at the interface between chemistry, physics and materials science. The study programme provides extensive knowledge of synthesis, chemistry and the properties of novel functional materials. The entire spectrum from the molecule via nanoscale materials to the bulk materials will be discussed.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- For this master's program, Students need a subject-specific bachelor degree (minimum 6 semesters/180 ECTS-Credits) or a recognized equivalent.

- Detailed Transcript of Academic Records
- Some courses might require German language proficiency. Applicants for German taught programs must pass German Language Test for Admissions to Higher Education (DSH) at DSH-2 level.
